Welcome to Thought Leaderboard. These Terms of Service govern your use of thoughtleaderboard.org (the “Site”), which is operated by HoneyWired LLC, a Chicago, Illinois company (“we,” “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
What the Site is
Thought Leaderboard is a satirical commentary publication. It catalogs publicly visible LinkedIn posting behavior, scores it against an editorial rubric we call the Audacity Index, and assigns archetypes describing posting styles. We publish editorial commentary, not statements of fact about individuals, except where scoring metrics are explicitly described as such.
Nothing on the Site constitutes legal, financial, business, medical, or psychological advice. The Site is published for entertainment and commentary purposes.
Inclusion on the leaderboard
People reach the standings via one of two paths:
- Self-nomination. Any user may submit themselves through the public submission form, which requires sign-in with LinkedIn. The act of signing in is your consent.
- Editorial curation. The editor may include high-profile public-figure posters at their professional discretion, consistent with standard editorial practice for public figures.
The public submission form does not accept community nominations of third parties. We do not feature minors or users who have requested removal.
Editorial discretion
All inclusion, scoring, archetype assignment, and editorial commentary is at our sole discretion. Submitting a nomination does not guarantee inclusion. Our editorial standards are published at /editorial.
Removals
Anyone may request removal of any profile at any time at the removal page, for any reason, without explanation. We honor all requests within 24 hours. Signed-in profile owners may also remove instantly through their account dashboard.
User submissions
The public submission form at /submit accepts self-nominations only. By submitting yourself, you represent that:
- You are submitting your own profile, not someone else’s
- You are not a minor
- The information you provide is accurate to your knowledge
By submitting yourself for audit, you grant us a non-exclusive license to publish your name, headline, photo, archetype assignment, Audacity Index scores, and a satirical season summary as part of the publication. You may revoke this license at any time by requesting removal.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- Submit a profile that is not your own
- Submit if you are a minor
- Attempt to interfere with the Site’s normal operation
- Use automated means to access, scrape, or harvest data from the Site
Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We make no representations about the accuracy of editorial scores, which are explicitly opinion. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or that any specific submission will be published or remain published.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Site and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

Submissions of copyrighted material must comply with applicable law. For DMCA takedown requests:

Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
